In the past few days I've been active both in my blog and here at DA. Well I guess I'm just lucky that my job isn't as demanding as before, so I get at least enough time to draw and explore some new styles to try. But can't just smile all day. As how I perceive the coming days, job orders are soon to flood my desk again. That's just the life I have and I'm not complaining. It's a cool job anyhow. But until then, I'll just enjoy the coolness of my time.

Sabong or cock-fighting, is a popular game in the Philippines (and also in some other countries) where fighting roosters pit it out in a brutal and bloody battle. Mostly, it ends up with one of the cocks dead. My upcoming short animation feature and illustrated book entitled "Basag-Tuka" tells about the story of the brutal world of Sabong, seen through the eyes of the fighter itself. The book is finished and the film is under production (animation), but it will be slashing its way this May.

Finally, I have launched my latest comics in my blog (pilosopotassium.blogspot.com). The main guy is Ben Tablet and his super hero alter ego is Proto-zap. As weird as he looks, his power's geekness is much more than that! He can simply PHOTOSHOP reality! He pixelated his face to protect his identity, he trapped an annoying nemesis inside transform control handles and even deleted the layers of bullets before they hit him. This comics is a hilarious take on a graphic artist's life and the world within his imaginations.

Back then I took a break in here, DA. I promised to come back, after my cursed day-job workload, with a BANG!

Actually I thought that gave me a pressure. What if I had no time to create artworks, well that happens most of the time. The long break, from DA, consumed me much with my office work. Designing, thinking promos, brainstorming with my great writer partners, eating when I can, drawing storyboards, flicking my pen against the tablet, those stuffs. I can't remember how long has it been and how much pressure did I manage to survive. But then every small opening I get to make myself relax, I take it. And when I say relax, I paint, I write, I draw... I took the standard to make it at least every Saturday or a Sunday. And oh boy now I'm back here, with much less pressure in the office, I never imagined how much artworks I banked during those small Sats and Suns sessions I pushed to have.

Now the time is dedicated for uploading, and of course doing more works of art! Man, how thirsty have I been? So freakin' thirsty! I even created a blog of my own featuring artworks, comics, paintings and all the graphic awesomeness we could think of! Well, most stuff in my blog are mine. My creations! But of course I feature other artists too. Even, events, cartoon/anime/movie reviews too. The amount of my excitement has never been like this since when I was in college. And dude I'm so glad I came back, hoping it sounded a real BANG! for me.

Hi Deviants!

I'm back (again!) and as I said in my previous journal, I'll be back with a bang! Now here I am, banging my head this early in the morning. I could still consider this a night since I haven't gone to sleep. Well maybe I'll upload some art craps later. I just wanna write here first. Not many are actually waiting for them. heheh.
